Adriana Carreno, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Florida

Born and raised in Colombia, I moved to the United States at age 25, beginning my college journey while adapting to a new culture and way of life. This personal experience has given me a deep appreciation for the challenges of acculturation, allowing me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds with empathy and understanding.

Throughout my life, I’ve faced and overcome many challenges that shaped who I am today—and they led me to this calling: supporting others during their most difficult moments. I work with individuals who are struggling emotionally, feeling stuck, or searching for hope in the midst of hardship.

I’m also passionate about working with children and adolescents. To better serve younger clients, I pursued advanced training and earned a certification in Play Therapy—an approach that helps children express themselves, process emotions, and grow through therapeutic play.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or family challenges, I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and evidence-based care.

Welcome! I’m Adriana Carreno, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families find healing, resilience, and hope.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with Honors from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and went on to complete a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Orlando, FL.
